Alma Visuals technical instructions:

Interscroller

Required components

  • Video/image size: 370 x 600 px, 768 x 1230 px, 1080 x 1920 px (vertical format)
  • Video format: MP4
  • Image format: JPG or PNG
  • Video length: 6–15 s recommended, max. 15 s
  • File size: max. 14 MB for loop videos; max. 4 MB in general (light videos are recommended). If the video is not looped, choose a desired end frame.
  • The video or image can be sent as a single asset, or various elements, such as a logo, a CTA button, or text, can be added to the video or image. The elements are added in transparent PNG file format.
  • URL (a link to a designated target page)

A video or image that fills the entire space can be used in the materials. If a video is used, a separate end frame can be added and it will appear when the video is stopped, or video can be set to loop and make it play on repeat.

Interscroller can be created using video as follows: an image will be placed in the background layer, and the video will fill, for example, 50/50 or 30/70 of the space. In this case, a background image according to the above-mentioned aspect ratios must be submitted – for example, 768 x 1230 px background image and a 1080 x 1080 px video (square). The video will be scaled to fit the background image.

Catalogue

A catalogue is recommended for large ad sizes, such as a digital full page or giant panorama. It is suited for other formats as well, but a larger format guarantees the widest ad recall. The catalogue can be run device-independently.

  • The catalogue can fill the entire banner or part of it.
    • If the catalogue fills only a part of a banner, various elements, such as a logo, a CTA button, or text, can be added to the materials. The elements are added in transparent PNG file format.
  • Background image format: JPG or PNG
  • The catalogue can be run, for example, through ISSUU and Publitas e-paper services with an embed code.
  • URL (a link to a designated target page)
  • The banner can be linked directly to a customer’s website, or the customer can set up product-specific links on the service provider’s end. (Check the feature directly from the service provider, such as ISSUU.)
