Advertising materials can be delivered as image files (jpg, gif and png), HTML5, third-party tags* or zip files.

All materials and possible tracking pixels must be HTTPS compatible.

Accumulation of campaign impressions

The accumulation of campaign impressions is monitored through the advertising management system used by Alma Media. If the campaign falls below 95% of the campaign display target, the campaign will either be continued until the impressions are filled or the missing impressions will be credited in the customer’s next campaign.

General guidelines for using video and audio in advertising

Sound can be used in the ad. The sound starts with a 0.5 second delay when the user moves the mouse over the ad (mouseover) and ends when the user moves the mouse off the ad. If auto-play is enabled in the ad’s video, the video must start without sound. The user should be able to close the video.

Regarding video advertising, we recommend using Alma Media’s standardized video solutions. Their functionality has been well tested. If the video is to be used in other advertising formats, the implementation must be done in accordance to separate material instructions.
