Reservation

Reservations for advertisements must be made by the reservation deadline for the publication in question. Publication schedules are available at www.almamedia.fi

Rich Print advertisements must be reserved two (2) working days before the reservation deadline.

Reservations for supplements must be made no later than three (3) weeks before the publication date.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made by the reservation deadline for the publication in question. Cancellations of fixed-position advertisements must be made no later than two (2) weeks before the publication date. Rich Print advertisements must be cancelled no later than two (2) working days before the reservation deadline. Publication schedules are available at www.almamedia.fi.

Cancellations of reservations for supplements must be made no later than three (3) weeks before the publication date.

Cancellations made after the cancellation deadline will be charged 50% of the net price. Cancellations involving force majeure circumstances must always be made in writing. In such cases, the customer will only be charged for the services performed by the printing facility.

Delivering materials

Materials must be delivered in accordance with the instructions for submitting materials, by the specified deadline. Publication schedules and the instructions for submitting materials are available at www.almamedia.fi.

Late or inoperable materials

Late materials for print media are subject to a surcharge of EUR 80 + VAT per hour or part thereof. Extra work caused by inoperable materials or other reasons is subject to a surcharge of EUR 80 + VAT (the minimum charge is 15 minutes/EUR 20). The fee for transferring materials to other media is EUR 300 + VAT.

Volume and annual contract discounts

Volume discounts are determined according to the volume discount table and calculated on the basis of the net value of advertisements reserved by the customer at the same time. The net value refers to the pre-tax invoicing value after any applicable discounts.

The annual contract discount is determined according to the volume discount table. It is calculated on the basis of the customer’s net spending during the contract period. Annual contract discounts are subject to a written agreement with Alma Talent.

Advertising in Kauppalehti’s classifieds section, Company Information section, Names section (excluding Rich Print ads) and Page 3 is subject to a serial discount based on the number of advertisements reserved at the same time. The serial discount does not apply to other media sales products. The serial discount does not apply concurrently with volume discounts and annual contract discounts.

Advertising and media agency discount

Alma Talent grants authorised parties an advertising agency/direct customer discount of 3–15% for advertising submitted through them. The calculation of this discount is subject to the order of precedence of discounts. The general conditions for the advertising and media agency discount are specified in the Terms and conditions for media sales by Alma Media Group.

Non-commercial advertising

Alma Talent grants a 35% discount for non-commercial advertising and election campaign advertising. Media agency and direct customer discounts also apply. Non-commercial advertising may not include sponsored logos. The discount does not apply to business, recruitment or property advertising or other administrative advertising by non-commercial entities.

The order of precedence of discounts

Discounts on list prices are calculated in the following order:
