LMC, SUBSIDIARY OF ALMA CAREER, ACQUIRES A CZECH START-UP TO REINFORCE IT RECRUITMENT SERVICES
A leading recruitment service company in the Czech Republic LMC s.r.o, a member of the Alma Media Group and a subsidiary of Alma Career Oy, has acquired a Czech start-up Quantiq s.r.o. The company’s SaaS-based recruitment service Techloop.io is a niche portal designed for IT professionals and businesses. The parties have agreed not to disclose the price of the transaction.
Founded in 2016, Quantic’s revenue in 2020 was approximately EUR 0.3 million.
Techloop’s algorithm-based service analyses quickly and efficiently registered applicants’ online profiles and matches them with listed IT vacancies. With own developed matching algorithm, the service also enables the comparison of open positions with the candidate’s search criteria and recommends the vacancies best suited for the jobseeker’s skills. Techloop’s revenue model is based on subscription fees, job postings and recruitment consultancy.
- Disruptive job board models and niche portals, particularly in the IT sector, are highly interesting and growing target areas in Alma Career’s strategy. The acquisition of the Techloop service will reinforce the e-recruitment services of LMC. The company has an established sales network for businesses as well as a regular visitor-base in its job boards in the Czech Republic.
