Jukka Ignatius appointed Editor-in-Chief for Valkeakosken Sanomat – Pekka Walden for Suur-Keuruu and KMV

JUKKA IGNATIUS APPOINTED EDITOR-IN-CHIEF FOR VALKEAKOSKEN SANOMAT – PEKKA WALDEN FOR SUUR-KEURUU AND KMV
 
Two Editors-in-Chief of Suomen Paikallissanomat Oy will interchange their positions as of 1 December 2008. Mr Jukka Ignatius, Editor-in-Chief of KMV, a local newspaper appearing in Mänttä two times a week, and Suur-Keuruu, a local newspapaer appearing in Keuruu three times a week, will move to Valkeakosken Sanomat newspaper.
 
Mr Pekka Walden, the current Editor-in-Chief for Valkeakosken Sanomat, a local newspaper appearing in Valkeakoski five times a week, for his part moves to KMV and Suur-Keuruu newspapers. Kurun Sanomat and Vekkari are also a part of this profit center. Mr Risto Koivuniemi continues as Editor-in-Chief for Kurun Sanomat.
 
Both Mr Walden and Mr Ignatius will be responsible also for the newspapers’ business result. The interchange of Editors-in-Chief is a part of publisher’s goal to enhance job circulation in all personnel groups. Experience of job circulation, both permanent and temporary, have been positive without exception.
 
Both of the Editors-in-Chief have a long career in local newspapers and in newspapers in general. Mr Ignatius has worked for Suomen Paikallissanomat since 2000 and Mr Walden since 1995.
