Prior to this, Heikki Huttunen was CEO of Alma Mediapartners, of which cars and mobility systems business, wholesale cars and autotalli.com are now part of the vehicles and mobility vertical. Minna Marjava-Kontio has previously served as Business director for housing site Etuovi.com.

Alma Consumer's media and media services will continue to be responsible for Iltalehti's Editor-in-Chief Perttu Kauppinen. Kari Kivelä, SVP of Alma Consumer, in line with his own duties, will be responsible for the business of comparison and sharing economy services in the future.

”I extend my warmest thanks to Jaakko for his work at Alma Consumer. We have been very successful in integrating Nettix services into Alma Media's business. In this process, Jaakko's expertise in the motoring marketplace business has helped a lot. We believe business is now on a good path as the digitalisation of the mobility services and ecosystem continues to accelerate over the next few years and commerce continues to move to digital marketplaces”, says Kari Kivelä, SVP of Alma Media Consumer.

”The end of month marked also the end of this professional journey. I have been in a fortunate position to work with Finland's leading marketplaces and news services for years. My employment ended simultaneously when the acquisition of Nettix Oy from Otava to Alma Media reached its final stage, where Nettix Oy was merged to Alma Media Suomi Oy on 30 April. Big thanks for all our customers and colleagues over the years, both in our own group and in the network. We have done well in business and will be awarded a worthy continuation as part of Alma's media and marketplace package," says Jaakko Haapakangas.

Alma Consumer's organisational changes and the new management responsibilities will take effect on 4 May 2022.

Alma Consumer's goal is to promote digital services and strengthen consumer media and media and service advertising solutions. In April 2021, Nettix Oy was incorporated into Alma Consumer segment, bringing new members to the Alma Media's product family: leading Finnish motor marketplaces Nettiauto, Nettikone and Nettimoto; Konepörssi, the leading professional media in the machinery and transport industry; and Ampparit, news service.
