ALMA TALENT’S NEW DIGITAL TRAINING SERVICE SEDUO RESPONDS TO SPECIALISTS’ FUTURE NEEDS FOR COMPETENCE
Alma Talent’s new digital training service Seduo provides a broad, continuously updated and expanding range of relevant courses taught by the leading specialists in their respective fields. The online training service enables flexible studying using a computer or via a mobile application.
– ‘The coronavirus epidemic has sped up digitalisation and transformed many industries. At the same time, the requirement for continuous training is becoming increasingly strong in the job market. People want to develop and update their competence, independent of time and place. We want to promote specialists’ professional development and success – anytime they need to strengthen their competence quickly and efficiently,’ says Miia Vanninen, Director of Training at Alma Talent.
– ‘Seduo implements Alma Talent’s strategy: we want to promote the competence development of Finnish professionals and increase the value of expertise in the job market. The focus of our strategy is on investment in paid digital content and services,’ explains Juha-Petri Loimovuori, CEO of Alma Talent.
The educational themes of the Seduo service include, among others, digitalisation of business, management, communications, the use of data in business, sales and marketing and financial administration. For users, there are alternative learning concepts, developed for different educational needs and situations.
For businesses, the service provides an efficient and flexible way of keeping their employees’ competence up-to-date. The business licence includes an easy-to-use analytics view for monitoring the achievement of the organisation’s training targets.
Each year, approximately 6,500 specialists participate in training provided by Alma Talent. During the coronavirus restrictions, most courses are provided remotely through a digital channel. Seduo further strengthens Alma Talent’s offering of digital training services.
The technological platform of Alma Talent Seduo was developed by Alma Media’s Czech subsidiary LMC. The content has been tailored to match Finnish working culture as well as the development of local competence and the expertise of Finnish specialists.
