Alma Media Corporation Press release 3 May 2013, 10.00 EEST
TIINA JÄRVILEHTO TO LEAD KAUPPALEHTI'S MEDIA SALES
Ms Tiina Järvilehto, M.Sc (Econ), 43, has been appointed the new Head of Media Sales in Alma Media's Kauppalehti. She will start in her new position in the beginning of August. Järvilehto returns to Alma Media from the optical company Silmäasema Fennica where she held the post of Sales and Marketing Director. Prior to this, Ms Järvilehto had a long and successful career as the Head of Media Sales and Marketing in Iltalehti.
- I am extremely satisfied to have Tiina in our team as the Head of Advertising Sales. According to the latest National Readership Survey, Kauppalehti's total audience is the fourth largest among newspapers right after afternoon papers and Helsingin Sanomat. The reader profile of Kauppalehti's media is also very good, which gives Tiina an excellent opportunity to increase Kauppalehti's business in the advertising market, says Mr Juha-Petri Loimovuori, Managing Director of Kauppalehti.
- I really enjoy the opportunity to promote the growth of Alma Media's strong products, this time at Kauppalehti. Kauppalehti is one of the frontrunners in the ongoing media revolution, and I am glad to be able to participate in developing its digital advertising concepts, says Järvilehto.
