
Senior Manager, Record to Report
As we transform our finance operating model into a global GFO structure and implement S/4HANA Cloud, we are hiring a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to lead the global R2R process.
This is a pivotal role to drive the global design and standardization of R2R, while also overseeing operational execution and statutory compliance in several countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global R2R process across General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Period-End Close, and Reporting.
- Own Finance Master Data governance (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, internal orders, etc.).
- Oversee country finance operations including statutory reporting, VAT compliance, and local audits.
- Act as the key finance process leader in the S/4HANA Cloud implementation, managing transitions from legacy systems.
- Set clear priorities, expectations, and roadmaps for execution across cross-functional, cross-country teams.
- Lead a diverse remote team, implementing alignment and best practices. Reduce country specific exceptions and design global way of working.
- Develop and monitor global KPIs, SLAs, and compliance frameworks.
- Lead internal controls governance and collaborate closely with tax, audit, controlling, and IT.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, visibility, and process discipline.
You will succeed in this role if you have:
- 10+ years in Finance, with substantial leadership experience in R2R and process ownership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and provide clarity in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to senior leadership and navigating cross-functional decision-making.
- Experience managing cross-border teams and leading through change.
- Deep expertise in statutory compliance, internal controls, and accounting (IFRS + local GAAP).
- Experience with S/4HANA (preferably Cloud) or large-scale ERP transformation is a strong plus.
- Finance certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
