
Strategy and M&A Specialist

As part of this journey, we are looking for a Strategy and M&A Specialist to join our team and play a central role in driving our ambitious growth targets. In this position, you will be managing our M&A operations and activities while also contributing to strategic planning, strategy initiatives and projects, market analysis, and business case development.
You will work closely with the company’s senior leadership team and cross-functional teams across the company. As part of Growth & Strategy team, you will take part in driving our company strategy and vision, organic growth and inorganic growth (M&A) activities, partnership building, as well as new business venturing. You will report to the Chief Growth Officer and will personally be a key contributor to our long-term strategic vision, managing hands-on strategic development initiatives.
What you’ll get to do
- Lead our day-to-day M&A agenda, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities across all stages of the process — from target screening and initial outreach to evaluation, due diligence, and execution support
- Contribute to the company’s strategy process, supporting continuous strategic planning and helping translate long-term ambition into actionable priorities
- Drive high-impact strategic initiatives, analyses, and cross-functional projects that accelerate company growth
- Develop structured analyses, financial models, and business cases, and prepare executive-level presentations that enable clear, data-driven decisions
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across commercial, product, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with business objectives
What makes you a great fit for this role
- Relevant professional experience in M&A, strategy consulting, corporate development, project management, or growth roles within a digital marketplace or SaaS environment, with hands-on involvement in strategic initiatives or transactions
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive analyses, initiatives, or workstreams from problem definition to recommendation
- Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modelling, business case development, and quantitative reasoning
- Experience contributing to strategy processes or leading strategic / transformation projects
- Ability to operate autonomously while effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to structure complex topics clearly and translate analysis into actionable insights
- A relevant academic degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
About the contract
This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.
As this is a newly established position within a newly forming Growth, Strategy & M&A function, we see the first year as a build phase — an opportunity to shape the scope of the role, demonstrate its impact, and define how the function will operate long term.
Based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit, there is a possibility to extend the cooperation or transition into a permanent role.
