Our mission: Living information
Today everyone trusts that media provides information that is new, relevant and engaging - regardless of the channel.
Society today craves information and is dependent on it. The role of Alma Media is to reinvent ways to process and refine information - to make living information. The information we provide must be useful, inspiring and engaging, irrespective of whether our clients are enjoying a printed newspaper, reading on the Internet or using a digital service. Alma Media products and services are part of the daily lives of almost all Finnish people.
We open new opportunities and horizons in our clients' lives by offering them the most relevant content on the market. We know how to produce content and services in a user-friendly way. We want to be the most exciting producer of information, service and experiences and set the stage for the future of media.
Will we succeed?
By living by this mission, we will push the boundaries of the traditional publishing business. we take a lead in the transformation of media, in a long term, sustainable manner.
We will succeed in this mission because we are wholeheartedly dedicated to information and finding fresh ways to bring it to life. We will succeed by working together, towards a common goal. We have the necessary know-how, which we update continuously. Our roots are strong and we know our game: we have been publishers of newspapers since the middle of the 19th century and we were at the forefront in web media in founding the first web services in Finland in the 1990s.
This is what we believe in. This is what we live for - we are living information, day in, day out.
