Car servicing market venue now fully owned by Alma Mediapartners

Alma Mediapartners, a subsidiary of Alma Media, has acquired the remaining share capital to become the full owner of AutoJerry Oy, a company offering competitive tender services for car servicing. Alma Media previously held a 24 per cent stake in the company. The parties have agreed not to disclose the price of the transaction.

In the service, people can compare car servicing and repairs in a centralised manner and invite competitive tenders for the services: drivers receive offers from car repair workshops in their area, compare offers and book a servicing time with the repair workshop they have selected.

The service, which was launched in June 2014, includes 1,630 car repair workshops, covering about 50% of Finland’s repair workshops around the country. Nearly 200,000 Finns have used the service to compare prices and invite competitive tenders. Revenue for the calendar year 2017 was approximately MEUR 0.7.

        Repair shops have found and started to use our services and we have been able to alter the marketing policies of the industry.
