Cars, homes and jobs – Alma Media’s long-term investment delivers results in Serbia

Alma Media has been a strategic partner and minority shareholder of Inspira Group, one of Serbia’s most successful digital service companies, since 2012. The collaboration reflects Alma Media’s long‑term commitment to developing digital marketplaces internationally and combining Nordic expertise with strong local market leadership.

A partnership built on strategic fit and shared expertise

The cooperation between Alma Media and Inspira Group, formerly known as Infostud, is based on a long‑term strategic alignment rather than on direct operational integration. Over the years, Inspira Group has evolved into a broad digital service provider, strengthening its position in automotive, recruitment and housing services—areas that closely mirror Alma Media’s own international development in Central and Eastern Europe. As Alma Media has expanded its Alma Career network across nine countries and built strong marketplace and closely related digital service portfolios in housing and automotive in Finland, the strategic fit of the two companies is obvious.

Headquartered in Subotica, Inspira Group has evolved from a student founded information portal into a diversified digital ecosystem. Today, the company operates multiple market leading brands, including Infostud, a career development center that includes the Poslovi recruitment platform and four additional sub-businesses. The company also offers a range of services in areas such as automotive, real estate, insurance, and e-commerce.

Branimir Gajić, cofounder and CEO of Inspira Group, describes the company’s development as both user-driven and forward-looking: “Inspira Group today operates with a clear ambition to expand further—both by entering new service areas and by exploring opportunities in additional markets.”, and continues:

“We didn’t start with the ambition to build an ecosystem. It emerged naturally as we followed the key life moments of our users and tried to solve their real problems in real time. Today, through several digital platforms, we connect people, share information, and create opportunities. The same mindset drives us as we look toward new services, new markets and new ways to create value.”

This growth‑oriented approach aligns naturally with Alma Media’s own long‑term strategy. Both organisations share a commitment to scalable digital services, user‑centric design and ambitious, sustainable growth.

Alma Media’s minority ownership since 2012

Alma Media has held a 25% minority stake in Inspira Group for more than a decade. This ownership is part of Alma Media’s broader international digital strategy, which focuses on scalable online services and marketplace models.

The investment has never been about short‑term expansion but about long‑term strategic continuity. Inspira Group’s strong local position, combined with Alma Media’s expertise in recruitment, housing and automotive marketplaces, creates a complementary foundation for sustainable growth.

Focus on digital marketplaces and recruitment services continues

The Inspira partnership is one element of Alma Media’s long‑term internationalisation in digital media and services.

“By investing in high‑quality digital businesses, we support the development of transparent, efficient and data‑driven marketplaces that benefit both consumers and companies”, says Vesa-Pekka Kirsi, EVP, Alma Career.

As Inspira Group continues to expand its service portfolio, the long‑standing partnership provides a stable foundation for future development and for supporting the digital transformation of everyday life in Serbia.
