Investors get help from artificial intelligence: Alma Media launched an intelligent search function

Alma Media has launched a new AI-based search function in the investor section of its website and in its mobile app. The purpose of the AI search is to make finding company’s public reports, releases, and financial information faster and more intuitive. Users can ask questions and search using natural language, ensuring a smooth experience for investors and other visitors.

“Our investor site development is an ongoing process, as it is one of our most important communication channels for private and institutional investors. We want to make investor communications as clear and accessible as possible. Our goal is to provide investors with the most relevant information about Alma and its strategy in a concise, versatile, and approachable way – in both Finnish and English,” says Teemu Salmi, go-to person in Alma Media’s Investor Relations.

“We continuously improve the site and add new elements when they enhance the user experience. For example, at the beginning of the year, we introduced real-time stock prices and information on our investor pages while the stock exchange is open. We hope our investor story will become familiar to an even wider audience, both in Finland and internationally. A big thank you also to Euroland IR, the service provider, with whom we are also developing purposeful AI solutions for investor relations,” Salmi continues.

The AI search is now available on Alma Media’s investor relations website and in the Alma Media IR app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play. If you have already had the application before and the blue IR chat button is not visible, it is advisable to update the application.

Alma Media utilises artificial intelligence both internally and in customer solutions. The Group’s AI program develops employee skills and shifts the focus from experimentation towards product development and new business models. Alma Media has launched innovative services such as Jobly Vibes (job advertisements in short video format) and Asuntopuntari (comparison of real estate data), and the company currently has about one hundred AI projects underway. Additionally, artificial intelligence is used in customer service through Kauppalehti Chat and Iltalehti Chat solutions, as well as in data monitoring via the Monitor service. Overall, artificial intelligence is seen within the company as a strategic resource that improves efficiency and creates new customer value.
