Repurchase of own shares based on share plans concluded

REPURCHASE OF OWN SHARES BASED ON SHARE PLANS CONCLUDED

Alma Media Corporation’s Board of Directors decided to use the buyback authorisation of Alma Media’s shares granted by the Annual General Meeting on April 5, 2024 for the implementation of the company’s share-based incentive programme. The buyback programme was initiated on April 22, 2024 and was terminated when the needed amount of shares had been purchased on February 4, 2025. The number of shares acquired was 200 000 and the average price per share was 10.7654 euros. Following the acquisition, the corporation owns the total of 251 944 shares, representing approximately 0.3 per cent of all Alma Media shares. The total registered number of shares in Alma Media is 82,383,182.

The AGM of 5 April 2024 authorised the Board of Directors to decide on the repurchase of a maximum of 824,000 shares in one or more lots. The maximum authorised number of shares represented approximately one (1) per cent of the company’s entire share capital.

The company’s own shares were acquired using the company’s non-restricted shareholders’ equity at the market price valid at the time of purchase of the shares through trading in a regulated market arranged by NASDAQ Helsinki Oy, and the shares were purchased otherwise than in proportion to shareholders’ current holdings. The shares were acquired and paid for according to the rules and instructions of NASDAQ Helsinki Oy and Euroclear Finland Ltd.
