Alma Media acquires 60 per cent of Netello Systems Oy, a company specialising in digital marketing solutions

On 31 March 2021, Alma Media acquired 60 per cent of the share capital of Netello Systems Oy, a company that provides digital marketing solutions especially to SMEs. The parties have agreed not to disclose the price of the transaction.

Established in 1999, Netello Systems Oy provides SMEs with highly effective search engine optimisation (SEO) and solutions and related services, such as conversion rate optimisation (CRO), search engine marketing (SEM) and web design. Netello Systems Oy’s digital marketing solutions help SMEs accelerate the digitalisation of their business and boost the growth of online business. Netello Systems Oy’s revenue amounted to EUR 2.2 million in 2020, with SEO services representing 75 per cent of this total. Netello Systems Oy has 23 employees.

Following the transaction, Netello Systems Oy and Alma Media’s centralised media sales organisation Alma Media Solutions will engage in closer cooperation, particularly in the SME market. Alma Media Solutions’ strategic focus areas include content marketing and concepts as well as data-driven digital marketing solutions. Alma Media Solutions’ growth strategy is focused on expanding its offering in digital marketing solutions, strengthening its position as a service provider for SMEs and diversifying its advertising service production and purchasing channels.
