Jenny Jännäri appointed Head of Editorial Staff of Kauppalehti Optio

JENNY JÄNNÄRI APPOINTED HEAD OF EDITORIAL STAFF OF KAUPPALEHTI OPTIO
Jenny Jännäri, BBA, has been appointed Head of Editorial Staff of Kauppalehti Optio, beginning 1 January 2014. Jännäri has held several positions at Kauppalehti since 2000, working as a journalist, editor and producer. Currently, she is working as a journalist for Kauppalehti Optio.
“Optio is a delightful magazine, since at its best it speaks to a wide range of audiences, from business tycoons to eco-hipsters. Innovative combining of different issues speaks to smart audiences and this must be our goal from one issue to the next. The Optio team combines wit and experience so I am confident that we will be successful in this in the future as well,” explains Jännäri.
The current Managing Editor of Kauppalehti Optio, Jussi Jalkanen, will be partially retiring on 1 January 2014 and will continue to work for Optio as a journalist and mentor to the new Head of Editorial Staff.

He will be succeeded by an experienced manager from our own magazine, the most popular lifestyle publication in the economy sector in Finland. Kauppalehti Optio is one of the largest Finnish periodicals. According The Finnish Audit Bureau of Circulations (FABC autumn 2012/spring 2013), the number of Optio readers has increased by almost seven percent, and it now has 211,000 readers. Optio is part of the subscription to Kauppalehti and it is published 22 times yearly.
