Lehdentekijät acquires Titanik Helsinki

LEHDENTEKIJÄT ACQUIRES TITANIK HELSINKI
Kauppalehti Oy, a subsidiary of Alma Media Corporation, will acquire Suunnittelutoimisto TTNK Helsinki Oy (Titanik Helsinki), an agency specialized in digital marketing communications. The deal, to be closed on November 1, 2010, will broaden the content production offering of Alma Media Lehdentekijät, the business unit in Kauppalehti Group offering customer magazines. The parties have agreed not to disclose the deal value. The deal carries no effects to the personnel.
The digital marketing communications expertise of Titanik Helsinki and the content expertise of Lehdentekijät are complementing each other. The importance of content produced to the new channels is constantly growing. The digital marketing communications expertise will strengthen the offering of Lehdentekijät both to existing customers and in bidding for new business.

The position of customer publications has been strengthened by the expansion of customer loyalty programs and customer relationship systems. The need for well-planned content is constantly increasing, says Petri Läntinen, the Managing Director of Lehdentekijät.
Lehdentekijät is one of the leading customer magazine houses in Finland. It has more than 40 regular publications in its production.
Titanik Helsinki is a channel-independent marketing communications agency that has been founded in 2006 and currently employs six designers.
