Etuovi.com and Fonecta join forces

ETUOVI.COM AND FONECTA JOIN FORCES

 

Etuovi.com, part of Alma Media Corporation, and Fonecta Oy have signed a cooperation agreement covering content offering and visibility. According to the agreement, Fonecta will provide the 020202.fi maps and www.fi text advertisements shown on the Etuovi.com online marketplace.

 

Fonecta will provide each home on sale on Etuovi.com with a map image and map links to the schools, day care centres and grocery stores closest to the property. Clicking on the map image or links, the user is taken to Fonecta’s 020202.fi service providing more map functionality.

 

Etuovi.com will bring its own property information to the maps of Fonecta’s 020202.fi service available through the search function by clicking on a separate link. The link will take the search user direct to Etuovi.com’s property presentations.

 

The cooperation also covers the targeted text advertisements on Etuovi.com online service. Etuovi.com is responsible for placing the advertisements effectively, while Fonecta takes care of the optimisation and sales of the advertising space.

 

“This allows even smaller companies to gain targeted, local visibility on Etuovi.com. According to the TNS Atlas survey conducted in 2006, the users of Etuovi.com are particularly interested in products and services related to homes and interiors. The map service is helpful in finding the services near by. Many long-term choices on choosing purchasing sources are made in connection with moving to a new home,” says Petri Pekki, director, Alma Media Interactive.
