News and articles editors-in-chiefs for Satakunnan Kansa

SATAKUNNAN KANSA                         PRESS RELEASE 13.10.2006

 

Two editors-in-chief have been appointed at Satakunnan Kansa: Tapio Vallin MSc (Pol. Sc.) (55) as Editor-in-Chief (articles) and Olli-Pekka Behm (40) Editor-in-Chief (News). Both appointments take effect on 23 October 2006.

 

Tapio Vallin has worked at Satakunnan Kansa since 1976 holding the positions of news editor, special editor, article editor, and from 2002 also as the deputy to the executive editor-in-chief.

 

Olli-Pekka Behm was employed by the Finnish News Agency (STT) between 1990 and 2001 in positions including editorial manager and marketing & development director, and by the newspaper Hämeen Sanomat as its editor-in-chief between 2001 and 2006.

 

Vallin and Behm report to Jouko Jokinen, publisher and executive editor-in-chief of Satakunnan Kansa.
