Editor-in-Chief of Arvopaperi to leave his post

Alma Media Corporation       Press Release       30 March 2016

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF ARVOPAPERI TO LEAVE HIS POST

Eljas Repo, the Editor-in-Chief of the Arvopaperi magazine that is published by Alma Media, will leave his post and no longer work for the company. The change will take effect on 31 March 2016.

Mikko Laitila, Managing Editor of Arvopaperi, will be the acting Editor-in-Chief. In spring 2016, Alma Talent will receive a new financial editorial team that will produce the investor and stock exchange content of Arvopaperi, Kauppalehti and Talouselämä. The managing editor of the financial editorial team, who will be selected soon, will also act as the manager of Arvopaperi and be responsible for the content brand of the magazine.

“I would like to thank Eljas Repo, the founder and long-term Editor-in-Chief of Arvopaperi, for his impressive work. He has made Arvopaperi into a strong brand within the Finnish investor community, and we will keep this brand alive at the Alma Media group. We could not find a suitable role for Mr Repo in the new editorial organisation of Alma Talent, and we decided together that the Editor-in-Chief would leave his post,” says Arno Ahosniemi, Executive Editor-in-Chief at Alma Talent.
