TIMO KÄMÄRÄINEN APPOINTED AS AI DIRECTOR OF ALMA NEWS MEDIA

Master of Social Sciences Timo Kämäräinen (50) has been appointed AI Director and a member of the Alma News Media management team. Since 2024, Kämäräinen has served as Editorial Development Director at Alma News Media.

In his current role, Kämäräinen has integrated an AI-driven culture into the daily work of editorial teams and has played a key role in developing AI- and data-driven solutions for Alma News Media’s editorial processes. He has extensive experience in both journalism and the development of technological solutions and the use of artificial intelligence in newsrooms.

Kämäräinen will assume his new position immediately. He will report to Juha-Petri Loimovuori, Executive Vice President of the Alma News Media segment.
