In April 2019, Alma Media joined forces with KPMG and LocalTapiola to organise Future Forerunners, an event focused on the working life of the future.
Organised at the Amos Rex art museum in Helsinki, the event was primarily aimed at university students who are entering working life in the near future.
The programme included keynote talks and programme lines produced by the companies that organised the event.
“Youth employment is a significant social issue that Alma Media wishes to promote. The Future Forerunners event was one way to help young people strengthen the skills they will need in the future and smooth their transition to working life,” says Kirsi Hantula, Corporate Responsibility Manager at Alma Media.
The Future Forerunners event organised in 2018 was the first in a new series of events related to working life. The next Future Forerunners event, focusing on the working life of the future, will take place in February 2020.
