Partner Content – Material Instructions

The customer provides:

  • Information whether content is a blog or article publication
  • Company logo
    • File format: PNG
  • The title of the publication
    • 1-3 title options for the publication. The maximum length of the title is 120 characters.
  • Name of the advertising company
  • Content of the publication
    • Text in doc format
      • recommended length 3000-4000 characters
      • the text may contain links. Alma Businessmedia does not provide analytics on links, but links with utm parameters can be tracked with your own Google Analytics account. In this case, please provide us with the links with the utm parameters.
    • Optional embed codes (e.g. video or podcast)
  • Also see the solution specific requirements from below (eg. images)
  • The media where the content will be published and the desired Release Date
  • If your campaign includes retargeting, please also provide the following materials:
    • Banners: Giant Panorama: 980 x 400 px, 200 kb and Mobile Giant Panorama: 300 x 300 px, max 100 kb
    • The address to which banners are redirected

Note! In print, the maximum number of characters is 2800 in tabloids (Kauppalehti, Tekniikka & Talous, Mediuutiset) and 3200 in magazines (Talouselämä, Tivi, Kauppalehti Optio). In print, the resolution of the image must be at least 220 dpi for tabloids and 300 dpi for magazines.

For the article, the customer also needs:

  • Image visible at native lift locations
    • 16: 9 aspect ratio
    • The recommended file size is 200-400 kb, in digital the image resolution must be at least 72 dpi.
    • All formats allowed except WebM and WebP
    • Avoid including text in the image.
  • Images used in the publication
    • Main image 16: 9, other images in the article freely selectable
    • File size recommendation 200-400 kb
    • All formats allowed except WebM and WebP

For a blog, the customer also needs:

  • 16: 9 image displayed on the summary page and native lift locations
    • Either the author’s image on a wide background or another appropriate image. If this is a blog post and the author’s image is to be uploaded, please indicate this when submitting the materials.
    • 16: 9 aspect ratio
    • The recommended file size is 200-400 kb, in digital the image resolution must be at least 72 dpi.
    • All formats allowed except WebM and WebP
  • Author’s image (the same image as above can also be used), title and title
    • This is reflected in the opened article
  • Keywords of the publication

For branded aggregation and category pages, you need:

1. Company logo:

  • File format: PNG

2. Large header image:

  • 16: 9 aspect ratio
  • Please note that the relevant content is in the middle of the image, as it is displayed in 3: 1 on Desktop and 16: 9 on Mobile.
  • Image size 1920 x 1080px (min. 1600 x 900 px)

3. Smaller image:

  • 16: 9 aspect ratio
  • In connection with the company presentation

4. Free text field (eg for company presentation):

  • Recommended number of characters: 400-500 characters
  • Links possible

5. HEX color code of the company’s brand color

Note! The materials on the brand page can be changed every three months or less.

Material delivery:

  • Materials for a brand page and digital publication must be submitted to five business days before the publication time. Print content must be delivered at least seven days before printing and at least 14 days before publication. Check the exact schedule with the publishing team.
  • The publication of content delivered late at the agreed time cannot be guaranteed
    • In this case, the content is either published late, which means that part of the withdrawal time is missed, or the publication is moved to the next possible publication time (not necessarily the next day)
  • When submitting materials, please include the ad format, advertiser name, and publication date in the subject line of the email.
  • You are encouraged to send all the materials in the same e-mail

Responsibility for ad content: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the material submitted to Alma Businessmedia does not violate applicable laws, regulations of the authorities and advertising self-regulatory bodies, instructions issued by Alma Businessmedia, these terms, other terms and conditions or good practice. The customer undertakes to take into account the restrictions concerning e.g. advertising to minors or the following advertising items: alcohol, tobacco, gambling, drugs, counterfeit products, and pirated products. Alma Businessmedia has the right, without liability, to refuse to display the advertisement if, according to Alma Businessmedia’s interpretation, the advertisement contravenes the above-mentioned requirements.
