Taru Lehtinen appointed as the head of Alma Talent Information Services

TARU LEHTINEN APPOINTED AS THE HEAD OF ALMA TALENT INFORMATION SERVICES

M.Sc. (Econ.) Taru Lehtinen (42) has been appointed as the head of Alma Media’s Alma Talent Information Services unit effective from 1 August 2019. She will move to her new position from Alma Media Group’s Finance unit, where she is currently the Director of Reporting and Planning. She has also been a member of the management team for the Alma Talent and Alma Markets businesses since 2017. Prior to joining Alma Media, she worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young from 2002 to 2008.

In her new position, Lehtinen will report to Juha-Petri Loimovuori, the CEO of the Alma Talent unit.

“Lehtinen has extensive experience at Alma Media and she is very familiar with all of Alma Talent’s businesses. She has led significant renewal projects in Alma’s Finance unit related to financial operations and systems, with a focus on digitality and process efficiency. During the past few years, Lehtinen has also had played a major role in the business development of Alma Markets and Alma Talent. I believe her experience will help the Information Services unit move to the next level with its digital utility business that improves the productivity of our customers,” says Juha-Petri Loimovuori, CEO of Alma Talent.

Taru Lehtinen’s predecessor, Riikka Wulff, is leaving the company to become the CEO of Pentik Oy on 1 August 2019.
