ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 30 DEC 2003, 14.15 ALMA MEDIA SOLD ALPRINT HYVINKÄÄ PRINTING OPERATION Alma Media sold the printing operations of its Hyvinkää printing plant to an entrepreneurial group primarily made up of the plant's key employees. Company announced the preliminary contract concerning the deal on 1 December 2003. The divestment will have no impact on Alma Media's result for the current year. The annual net sales of the Hyvinkää plant is approximately EUR 8 million. The unit has about 60 full-time and 10 part-time employees. Its core businesses are newspaper publishing and printing, the publishing and distributing of financial information, television and radio broadcasting, and supporting media services. Its shares are traded on the Helsinki Exchanges: the trading code of the Series I share is ALM1V and of the Series II share ALM2V.
