Audited circulation of Kauppalehti in 2009: Expected decrease from the record level

Alma Media Corporation Press release March 29, 2010 at 13.00

AUDITED CIRCULATION OF KAUPPALEHTI IN 2009: EXPECTED DECREASE FROM THE RECORD LEVEL

The audited circulation of Kauppalehti in 2009 is 78,731, representing a 9.1% drop from the record level of 2008 (86,654). Approximately half of the drop was attributable, as previously announced, to the changes in the free subscriptions to student organizations. Another half of the drop is related with the normal cancellations of corporate subscriptions in an economic downturn. However, the proportion of the paid standing orders grew in 2009.

Kauppalehti, the leading business newspaper in Finland, is part of Alma Media Group.
