Kauppalehti and Finnish shareholders’ association become partners

KAUPPALEHTI AND FINNISH SHAREHOLDERS’ ASSOCIATION BECOME PARTNERS
 
Kauppalehti Oy and Alma Media Lehdentekijät Oy, both parts of Alma Media Corporation, have signed a long-term partnership agreement with Finnish Shareholders’ Association. The agreement covers the Association’s member communication and magazines.
 
According to the agreement, the Association’s approximately 11,600 members will start receiving Kauppalehti’s Friday issue as their new membership benefit. This expanded readership will strengthen Kauppalehti’s position as the leading nationwide economic newspaper. The intention is to complement the Friday issue of Kauppalehti with a special section on private investment.
 
In addition, Lehdentekijät Oy will start producing a new membership magazine, Viisas Raha (Wise Money) for the Association. The magazine will appear 10 times a year, and its circulation is the entire membership of Finnish Shareholders’ Association.
 
Lisäksi Lehdentekijät Oy tuottaa liitolle kokonaan uuden jäsenlehden, jonka nimeksi tulee Viisas Raha. Lehti on formaatiltaan aikakauslehti, joka ilmestyy 10 kertaa vuodessa. Viisas Raha -lehden jakelulevikkinä on koko Osakesäästäjien jäsenkunta.
 
Kauppalehti is Finland’s leading economic medium. Its circulation is 81,377 (LT 2006), and the weekly number of discrete visitors to the Kauppalehti.fi online service is approximately 295,000. Alma Media’s Kauppalehti business unit includes, besides Kauppalehti, Alma Media Lehdentekijät, the direct marketing company Kauppalehti 121 Oy and the leading news agency in the Baltic countries, BNS.
