Aamulehti kicks off a renewal project, print format change also in consideration

AAMULEHTI KICKS OFF A RENEWAL PROJECT, PRINT FORMAT CHANGE ALSO IN CONSIDERATION

Aamulehti, the most widely read regional newspaper of Alma Media, initiates a significant redesign and renewal project. The newspaper’s content, structure, sections, supplements and organisation will be renewed during 2013. Additionally, lso the contents of print newspaper and its digital service will be differentiated even more than now, with the objective to create new content and service products to digital channels.

As part of the renewal project, also the page format of printed Aamulehti is under consideration. The decisions about the format and the detailed timetable of the renewal process will be made at a later stage.

The renewal project of Aamulehti continues the newly formed cooperation and organisation within Alma Regional Media’s five regional newspapers and 29 local and city papers. The renewal of Aamulehti is also affected by the new printing facility of Alma Media in Tampere, due to start operations in early 2013.
