ALMA MEDIA’S MASCUS EXPANDS ITS BUSINESS IN ITALY AND SPAIN

 

Mascus, the electronic marketplace for used heavy machinery and transportation vehicles, has signed two more license agreements with partners in Italy and Spain. Mascus is part of Finnish media company Alma Media. The new partners are RCS MediaGroup in Italy and Vocento in Spain.

 

RCS MediaGroup is an international multimedia publishing house operating in daily newspapers, magazines and books, radio broadcasting, new media and digital and satellite TV. The company holds a leadership position in the area of daily newspapers with brands like Corriere della Sera and La Gazzetta dello Sport. In the classified ad sector RCS Digital is present with successful products like TrovoLavoro.it (recruitment), TrovoCasa.it (real estate) and Automobili.com (cars).

 

Vocento is a leading multimedia group operating in all areas of information and entertainment, such as newspapers, supplements, magazines, television, radio, audiovisual production, movie distribution, and Internet. Mascus Spain will be organized together with Vocento’s car portal, Autocasion.

 

– Italy and Spain are among top five countries regarding the size of the markets in Europe in the business areas of construction, agriculture, ground scare, transportation and material handling. Therefore, this establishment is important for Mascus in South Europe, and Europe as a whole, says Fredrik Larsson, Managing Director of Mascus.

 

Currently, Mascus has customers from 35 countries and over 1.200.000 unique visitors monthly. The company has fast expanded its operations in Europe, North America, Oceania and South Africa and has partners altogether in 32 countries worldwide.
