ALMA MEDIA TO EXECUTE ITS PLAN TO RENEW ITS PRINTING FACILITIES IN TAMPERE

Alma Media Corporation announced on December 17, 2009 that it has initiated preparations for an investment aiming at the renewal of its Tampere newspaper printing facilities. The company has now decided to proceed with the initiative to the execution phase.

The new printing facility will be located in the Pirkanmaa region in new premises rented by Alma Media.

The total value of the investment will be EUR 50 million maximum. The new printing facility is estimated to be operational in 2013.

Alma Media has three newspaper printing facilities, which are located in Pori, Tampere and Rovaniemi. The titles printed in Tampere include Aamulehti, Kauppalehti and the major part of Iltalehti.
