Alma Media, a Finnish media company, continues to internationalize its online businesses in line with its growth strategy. Currently, Mascus has customers from 33 countries and over 250,000 visitors monthly. "We continue to launch the service to new countries, which increases the opportunities for buyers and sellers to trade their used machines and trucks both locally and internationally", says Fredrik Larsson, Managing Director of Mascus.
Regarding operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Mascus has signed a license agreement with an Austrian company Teleport. The new offices will further strengthen Mascus' presence in the German-speaking markets that are served by 90 dealers.
The new Lithuanian office, located in Kaunas, Northern Lithuania, has been opened in cooperation with Alma Media's Motors24, the online market place for used cars. The new Lithuanian team will be responsible for local sales, marketing and customer services, providing Lithuanian dealers with more opportunities to sell their used machines and trucks as well as to export them to other Baltic and CIS countries.
