ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION       PRESS RELEASE   5 November 2007

SUOMEN PAIKALLISSANOMAT AS A CUSTOMER OF STOORI

Suomen Paikallissanomat Oy (SPS), a part of Alma Media Corporation, has made a co-operation agreement with Juttupankki Stoori. Juttupankki Stoori is a journalistic service targeted to local newspapers as well as to town papers. It is provided by Maakunnan Sanomat Oy which is owned by Keskisuomalainen Oyj. All 21 local newspapers and town papers of SPS begin their co-operation with Stoori in the beginning of the year 2008.

This agreement is a beginning of a new kind of co-operation between the two largest Finnish local newspaper companies. This co-operation widens the possibilities for all local newspapers to combine media sells as minimum almost 40 papers produce a supplement at the same time with the same theme.

The service of Juttupankki Stoori produces articles with pictures on various themes and topics. Regular themes of Stoori are e.g. education, beauty and health, fashion and weddings, building and interior design, gardening, traffic, traveling, food and wine, entrepreneurship and Christmas.
