APPOINTMENTS IN ALMA MEDIA’S BROADCASTING DIVISION

ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION PRESS RELEASE 2 December 1999 APPOINTMENTS IN ALMA MEDIA’S BROADCASTING DIVISION Jorma Miettinen, PhD, (52) has been appointed Director of Alma Media Corporation’s Broadcasting division from 1 January 2000. Dr Miettinen will be responsible for laying the groundwork for development of Alma Media Corporation’s Broadcasting activities and for preparing the division’s communications policy. He will report to Mr Eero Pilkama, President of the Broadcasting division, and to Mr Matti Packalén, chairman of the division’s board of directors. Dr Miettinen joins Alma Media Corporation from MTV Oy, where he has worked since 1980 as a communications expert, news editor in chief, assistant director and director. Ms Anitta Pellinen has been named Executive Assistant to the management of Alma Media Corporation’s Broadcasting division from 1 January 2000. She has previously been employed as an assistant and as secretary to the president of MTV Oy.
