Kauppalehti’s circulation increasing

ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION              PRESS RELEASE

Kauppalehti’s circulation increasing

Kauppalehti’s audited circulation for 2006 was 81.377 marking an increase of 0.5 %, or 371, on the 2005 audit.

Ms Riitta Alfthan, Kauppalehti’s circulation director, says that the factors underlying the positive development in circulation were a reduction in cancelled orders and strong circulation sales.

“The reduction in cancellations indicates that readers are pleased with the paper’s continuous content development. There also seems to be plenty of interest in paying to receive reliable business and financial information even though business information distributed free of charge is on the increase.”

The final Finnish newspaper audit for 2006 will be published in the next few days.
