Alma Media divests the Kuriiri town paper in Ranua

ALMA MEDIA DIVESTS THE KURIIRI TOWN PAPER IN RANUA

Alma Media’s subsidiary Alma Media Kustannus Oy is divesting Kuriiri, a town paper delivered to all households in Ranua and Posio. Starting from 1 July, the new publisher of the town paper is Kuriirilainen Oy, a company owned by the paper’s current personnel.

Kuriiri is published once a week. The paper is delivered to all households in Ranua and Posio. In addition, a quarter of the print run of 6,300 copies is delivered to households outside the delivery area on a subscription basis.

The paper’s four employees are transferred as existing employees to the new company they have established.
