AI & Integration Architect

Want to lead enterprise architecture in one of the fastest‑evolving areas in tech? This role offers a rare opportunity to own the integration and AI architecture that will shape how Alma Media enables AI transformation across the organization.

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in integration and architecture who is ready to drive the evolution of our AI and integration landscape. You’ll lead the architectural direction for integration platforms and AI agent systems, working closely with the CIO and supported strategically by the CDO. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you both define architecture and implement solutions as you build expertise in emerging patterns.

This role places you at the forefront of AI‑driven enterprise architecture. You’ll shape how teams across Alma Media build AI‑powered solutions through high‑impact, visible, and hands‑on work. You’ll define modern architecture patterns, work with AI agent orchestration and integration platforms, and operate in an international environment with real scale, supported by experienced technology leadership. 

What you’ll get to do

Architectural leadership and ownership

  • Own the integration and AI architecture, defining direction, standards, and patterns
  • Assess current state, define target architecture, and lead platform evolution
  • Make key decisions on integration technologies and AI agent orchestration
  • Establish and lead group‑wide AI governance for secure and compliant AI use
  • Partner with business units to co‑create patterns for automations and AI solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors
  • Define integration patterns, data models, and API standards
  • Lead the architecture community and promote best practices

Hands‑on implementation

  • Design and implement integration platforms and data flows
  • Build AI agent platforms and orchestration capabilities
  • Implement integration solutions, review API designs, and validate vendor architectures
  • Ensure identity, data governance, and security architectures work cohesively
  • Produce documentation and reference implementations to support adoption

You are a strong match if you have a solid technical foundation with hands‑on experience in integration architectures, API design, data flows, and cloud platforms, especially within the Azure ecosystem. You’re comfortable making and owning architectural decisions, validating them through practical implementation, and applying enterprise architecture principles with pragmatic judgment. You understand integration platforms, enterprise system integrations, and identity and access management in distributed environments.

You’re curious about how AI is reshaping enterprise architecture and eager to learn how to design AI‑native systems, agent‑driven workflows, and modern LLM integrations. Prior experience with AI or data‑driven solutions is useful, but a strong learning mindset is what truly matters. You bring leadership qualities that help you influence architectural direction, communicate clearly across technical and business teams, and build shared best practices. You combine analytical thinking with hands‑on execution, operate comfortably as both strategist and implementer, and balance innovation with security, compliance, governance, and sustainability.
