ETUOVI.COM’S KIVI REAL ESTATE AGENCY SYSTEM CONVERTS REAL ESTATE DOCUMENTS INTO ELECTRONIC FORMAT

Alma Mediapartners Oy, the company behind the Etuovi.com online service, has entered into an agreement with Suomen Kiinteistönvälittäjäliitto ry (Finnish Association of Real Estate Agents) to convert forms used by real estate professionals and accepted by the Consumer Ombudsman into electronic format.

As a result of the product development project, it will be possible to fill in and sign forms for commission agreements, appendix lists and purchase offers electronically. The electronic forms will be integrated into the KIVI real estate agency system, which will ease and modernise the everyday work of real estate agents significantly.

“This is the next step in the digitalisation of the real estate industry and it also supports the Finnish government’s top project to digitalise all public services. In future, Etuovi.com’s KIVI real estate agency system will be even more closely integrated into the public systems. The new system makes it possible to conduct completely paperless real estate transactions,” says Tero Lehtimäki of Alma Mediapartners Oy, who is in charge of the operations of the KIVI real estate agency system.

The Finnish Association of Real Estate Agents (SKVL) is delighted that the real estate industry has finally started to gain momentum in making use of the possibilities offered by digitalisation.

“It is especially great that this change will give real estate agents more time to serve their customers instead of always filling in the same forms,” comments Jaana Anttila-Kangas, Managing Director of SKVL.

The KIVI real estate agency system developed by Etuovi.com was the first to make it possible to sign real estate transaction documents electronically as early as in 2012. Now, the system has become an established everyday tool among real estate professionals. Around one third of real estate transactions in Finland are carried out using the system.

Etuovi.com is part of Alma Media.
