ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION PRESS RELEASE 29 November 2000 1/2 Alma Media launches Alma Media has introduced an entirely new Internet service for companies and private individuals wishing to advertise property and vehicles. The seller provides full details of the product on offer, e.g. a house or car for sale, and prospective buyers can then examine the information using easy-to-use search functions. Buyers unable to find a suitable property or car can register what they are looking for in Vahti, a service that notifies them by e- mail when a suitable property or car comes up for sale. Alma Media has launched this service in its 24 online publications. Alma Media has opened its new service today as part of the online services offered by Aamulehti and Iltalehti. In the future the service will be be added to the online editions of Satakunnan Kansa, Lapin Kansa, Pohjolan Sanomat, Kainuun Sanomat, Kankaanpään Seutu, Koillis-Häme, Nokian Uutiset, Raahelainen, Raahen Seutu, Pyhäjokiseutu, Ouluneteläinen, Valkeakosken Sanomat, Kurun Sanomat, Suur-Keuruu, Merikarvialehti, Uutismarkku, Sydän- Satakunta, Jokilaakso, Kuhmolainen, Sotkamo, Ylä-Kainuu and Vekkari. The service package will be further expanded next year to cover new product groups such as separate classifed ads services for boats, motorcycles, caravans and motor homes.
