ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 27 November 1998, 9.30 am ALMA MEDIA SELLS ITS 28.4 % SHARE OF ALCAP OY Alma Media Corporation has sold its 28.4 % holding in Alcap Oy to trust funds managed by CapMan Capital Management Oy and to key executives of Aldata Solution Oy. Alma Media Group’s profit on the sale of this divestment, FIM 17 million, will be recorded under extraordinary income. As part of the restructuring of Alcap Oy, Alma Media Corporation has sold its 28.4 % of the stock of Alcap Oy to trust funds managed by CapMan Capital Management Oy and to key executives of Aldata Solution Oy. Alma divestment will give Alma Media a profit of FIM 17 million, which will be entered under extraordinary income in the 1998 annual accounts. This divestment will have no impact on the 1998 result of Alma Media Corporation, the parent company of the Alma Media Group. The difference between the parent company's and the consolidated financial statements arises from the fact that the profit on the sale of the Suomen Aldata Oy shares in February 1997 was not entered in its entirety in the consolidated financial statements since at the time the Group still remained an owner of the divested company through Alcap Oy.
