ALMA MEDIA OYJ PRESS RELEASE 27 APRIL 2004, 13:45 Kauppalehti and Quartal have formed a Joint Venture for Investor Relations Services Kauppalehti, Finland's leading business medium, and Quartal, a specialist in financial reporting and online investor relations solutions, have formed a joint investor relations services venture, Quartal Investor Relations Services Oy, which combines the companies' current IR businesses. The aim is to answer client companies' needs with a broader range of online investor relations services. The merger of operations and the associated practical arrangements will be carried out during the year 2004. The new company will be headed by CEO Petri Leinonen, the current director of Quartal's IR Services. The clientele of Quartal Investor Relations Services consists of over 70 listed companies in ten different European countries. By far the market leader in Finland, the new company is also amongst the largest providers of online investor relations services in Europe. The company provides solutions for public investor relations as well as internal company uses, such as management reporting.
