Petri Hakala to return to Iltalehti as Editor-in-Chief

PETRI HAKALA TO RETURN TO ILTALEHTI AS EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Petri Hakala (51) has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Iltalehti.  He will be returning to Iltalehti from his current post as Executive Editor-in-Chief of Satakunnan Kansa. He will report to the director of the IL-Media business unit and Iltalehti’s Executive Editor-in-Chief Kari Kivelä.

Petri Hakala left Iltalehti in 2010 to become the Publisher and Executive Editor-in-Chief of Satakunnan Kansa. Previously he has worked as a reporter for Uusi Suomi and Iltalehti as well as News Editor and Managing Editor at Iltalehti. Hakala was the Editor-in-Chief of Iltalehti from 1995 to 2010.

Alma Regional Media will start the recruitment of a new Executive Editor-in-Chief for Satakunnan Kansa right away.
