ALMA MEDIA CORPORATION: CHANGES TO THE PROPOSAL BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ NOMINATION AND COMPENSATION COMMITTEE TO THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

After the publication of the Notice to the Ordinary Annual General Meeting of Alma Media Corporation, Mr Timo Aukia, member of the Board of Directors, has cancelled his permission for his election for the Board’s next term of office.

The Nomination and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting that seven (7) members serve on the Board of Directors, as stated in the Notice to the Annual General Meeting, and that Mr Esa Lager, LLM, MSc (Econ), be elected new member of the Board for the term of office extending until the end of the subsequent Annual General Meeting.

Mr Lager has confirmed his availability for election to Alma Media’s Board of Directors.

Shareholders representing more than half of the company’s share capital, and the votes conferred by those shares, have announced they support the Nomination and Compensation Committee’s proposal.
