STOCK EXCHANGE BULLETIN 12 April 1999 at 2.00 pm TAUNO ÄIJÄLÄ AND ILKKA KYLMÄLÄ EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENTS OF MTV OY Mr Tauno Äijälä (57), Vice President of Programming at MTV Oy has been appointed Executive Vice President and deputy to the President of MTV Oy from 1 July 1999. Mr Ilkka Kylmälä (47), MSc (Econ.), has been appointed Executive Vice President of MTV Oy with responsibility for sales and marketing. He will take up his new position at the latest on 2 August 1999. Mr Tauno Äijälä (57), MSc (Pol. Sc.), Vice President of Programming at MTV Oy has been appointed Executive Vice President and deputy to the President of MTV Oy from 1 July 1999. He takes over from MTV Oy’s Executive Vice President Jaakko Paavela who, as previously agreed, took early retirement on 1 July 1999 after reaching 60 years of age on 17 June 1999. Mr Äijälä will continue to hold his existing position as head of MTV Corporations programming. Mr Ilkka Kylmälä (47), MSc (Econ.), has been appointed Executive Vice President of MTV Oy with responsibility for heading the company’s sales and marketing activities. He will also hold the position of President of MTV Media Oy. Mr Kylmälä moves to MTV Oy having been Managing Director of the Nordic Business Unit of Reader’s Digest. Mr Kylmälä’s earlier positions include Managing Director of Oy Valitut Palat – Readers Digest Ab, Director of the Anttila retail store chain’s Home and Speciality Goods Division, and Managing Director of Yves Rocher UK and Yves Rocher Finlande Oy. He will take up his new position at the latest on 2 August 1999 and will report to Mr Eero Pilkama, President of MTV Oy.
