Alma Media Corporation       Press release                             7 June 2016 at 10:15 a.m. (EEST)

NEW EDITOR-IN-CHIEF FOR AFFÄRSVÄRLDEN

Jon Åsberg, Senior Editor-in-Chief of Alma Talent’s Swedish business publication Affärsvärlden, is leaving his post and the company. Managing Editor Erik Wahlin will replace him as acting Editor-in-Chief for the time being. The changes will enter into force on 8 June.

- Talentum Sweden is undergoing major organisational changes. We were unable to find a suitable new role for Åsberg, and we have agreed together that he will leave our services. I would like to thank Jon for his exceptional work. Many good things have happened over these years. The magazine is profitable, its outlook is positive and it is in a good position to respond to the challenges of the rapidly changing media sector in the future as well, says Peter Edhäll, Vice President of Talentum Sweden.

- I have been Editor-in-Chief of Affärsvärlden for the past 10 years and this has been a very interesting time. Of course I am sad to leave, but, at the same time, I am very proud that we were able to restore profitability, establish an equity fund and win many awards and acknowledgements over the years, says Jon Åsberg.

Affärsvärlden is one of Sweden’s leading business publications. The magazine was founded in 1901 and has 45,000 weekly readers, according to Orvesto Näringsliv’s 2015 report. The online publication has approximately 150,000 weekly visitors. The Affärsvärldenfonden equity fund established at the turn of the year has received the best possible rating in the Morningstar fund analysis for this year up to the end of May.
