Cooperation negotiations at Alma Intermedia Oy ended

COOPERATION NEGOTIATIONS AT ALMA INTERMEDIA OY ENDED

Alma Intermedia Oy, an online directory and telemarketing company belonging to Alma Media Group, has finished the statutory cooperation negotiations that began in March, 2012. The negotiations concerned the plans to reorganise and rationalise the company’s operations. Simultaneously, Alma Intermedia is revising its business strategy.

As a result of the negotiations that concerned all employees of the company, in total 18 persons, the number of employees will reduce by 10 person-years. In the beginning of the negotiations, Alma Intermedia anticipated that the number of its employees may decrease by 11 person-years maximum as a result of the negotiations.

The objective of the changes is to accelerate the implementation of the renewing strategy, improve the competitiveness and operational preconditions of suomenyritykset.fi online directory and to secure the financial position of Alma Intermedia.
